نامياري آرڪيالاجسٽ ۽ تاريخدان نائينجوت لاهري دهلي يونيورسٽي جي تاريخ واري شعبي جي پروفيسر آهي. سندس جنم 3 مارچ 1960ع تي ٿيو. پاڻ شروعاتي تعليم دهلي جي اسٽيفن ڪاليج مان حاصل ڪئي. بعد ۾ هن دهلي يونيورسٽي مان ايم اي، ايم فل ۽ پي ايڇ ڊي جون ڊگريون حاصل ڪيون. تعليم مڪمل ڪرڻ بعد کيس دهلي يونيورسٽي جي هندو ڪاليج جي تاريخ واري شعبي ۾ ليڪچرار مقرر ڪيو ويو. جتي پاڻ 1982ع کان 1993ع تائين تاريخ جي شعبي ۾ خدمتون سرانجام ڏنيون. بعد ۾ کيس دهلي يونيورسٽي جي تاريخ واري شعبي ۾ ريڊر مقرر ڪيو ويو. جتي پاڻ 1993ع کان 2001ع تائين خدمتون سرانجام ڏيندي رهي. پاڻ انڊيا جي آرڪيالاجي ۽ قديم تاريخ تي تحقيق ڪري رهي آهي. هن سنڌو ماٿري جي سڀيتا تي به ڪافي تحقيق ڪئي آهي. سندس سنڌو سڀيتا تي ڪيترائي ڪتاب ۽ تحقيقي مقالا لکيل آهن. لاهري سنڌو سڀيتا جي دريافت سميت ان جي پوئتي پوڻ جي ڪارڻن تي به تحقيق ڪئي آهي. ان سان گڏ پاڻ سنڌو سڀيتا جي وارثن جي پرڏيهه سان واپاري لاڳاپن تي به کوجنا ڪئي آهي. پاڻ ڪيترن ئي ملڪي ۽ بين الاقومي ايسوسئيشنس ۽ ادارن سان به لاڳاپيل آهي. لاهري 2007ع کان 2010ع تائين دهلي اربن آرٽ ڪميشن جي ميمبر رهي. پاڻ آمريڪن اينٿروپلاجسٽ جرنل جي ايڊيٽوريل بورڊ جي ميمبر ۽ برطانيه جي ورلڊ آرڪيالاجي جرنل جي صلاحڪاري ايڊيٽوريل بورڊ جي به ميمبر آهي.
