ڀارتي آرڪيالاجسٽ امريتا سارڪر دکن ڪاليج پوسٽ گريجوئيٽ اينڊ ريسرچ انسٽيٽيوٽ جي آرڪيالاجي شعبي جي پروفيسر آهي. پاڻ ڪلڪتي يونيورسٽي مان جاگرافي ۾ بي ايس سي ڪئي. جنهن بعد ساڳي يونيورسٽي مان آرڪيالاجي ۾ ايم ايس سي جي ڊگري حاصل ڪئي. پاڻ 2005ع ۾ دکن ڪاليج ۾ پي ايڇ ڊي جي ڊگري لاءِ داخلا ورتي ۽ 2011ع ۾ راجسٿان جي ميوار ريجن ۾ سنڌو سڀيتا ۽ ثقافت جي اوسر جي موضوع تي ڊاڪٽريٽ جي ڊگري حاصل ڪئي. پاڻ ڊسمبر 2010ع ۾ دکن ڪاليج جي آرڪيالاجي ڊپارٽمينٽ ۾ پروفيسر طور مقرر ڪئي وئي. پاڻ ڏکڻ ايشيا جي آرڪيالاجي بابت سوسائٽي جي به جوائنٽ سيڪريٽري آهي. جڏهن ته سوسائٽي طرفان آرڪيالاجي بابت نڪرندڙ جرنل جي جوائنٽ ايڊيٽر به آهي. پاڻ ڀارتي رياست راجسٿان ۾ سنڌو ماٿري جي سڀيتا تي تحقيق سان لاڳاپيل آهي. هن ان موضوع تي ڪيترائي مقالا ۽ ڪتاب تحرير ڪيا آهن.
