برطانوي آرڪيالاجسٽ هينري ڪزنس
آرڪيالاجيڪل سروي آف انڊيا جو سپرينٽينڊنٽ هيو. سندس جنم 13 سيپٽمبر 1854ع تي
اسڪاٽ لينڊ جي شهر پيسلي ۾ ٿيو. پاڻ برطانيه جي شهر ڪينٽ ۾ 5 نومبر 1933ع تي دل جي
دوري سبب لاڏاڻو ڪري ويو. پاڻ سول انجنيئرنگ ۽ بلڊنگ ڪنسٽرڪشن جو ماهر هو. پاڻ سٺو
ڦوٽو گرافر ۽ مصور به هو. هن 1874ع ۾ برطانوي هند سرڪار طرفان بمبئي جي سروي لاءِ
خدمتون سرانجام ڏنيون. ڪزنس 16 نومبر 1881ع تي انڊيا جي آرڪيالاجيڪل سروي
ڊپارٽمينٽ ۾ ملازمت اختيار ڪئي. هن آرڪيالاجيڪل سروي ڊپارٽمينٽ ۾ ملازمت دوارن
هتان جي مقامي ماڻهن کي سروي ۽ ڊرافٽنگ بابت تربيت ڏني. ڪزنس کي فيبروري 1906ع ۾ آرڪيالاجيڪل سروي ويسٽرن سرڪل پونا ۾
سپرينٽينڊنٽ مقرر ڪيو ويو. برطانوي سرڪار طرفان کيس آرڪيالاجي جي شعبي ۾ خدمتن جي
مڃتا طور مئي 1900ع ۾ قيصر هند جو خطاب ۽ گولڊ ميڊل ڏنو ويو. هينري ڪزنس انڊيا سميت سنڌ جي قديم آثارن تي بي
بها تحقيق ڪئي ۽ ان متعلق سندس ڪيترائي ڪتاب لکيل آهن، پاڻ 13 سيپٽمبر 1910ع تي سرڪاري ملازمت تان رٽائرمينٽ حاصل
ڪئي.
